On the Wednesday concert Kathryn and Katherina will perform pieces by Haydn, Kodaly, Honegger and Mozart. On the Saturday concert Kathryn and Katherina will perform pieces by Bach, Ravel, Beethoven, Martinu and Händel/Halvorsen.
Kathryn Krueger is an American violinist who began her solo career at viagra mail order the age of four. As a master student of Misha Mishakoff she began concert tours of the USA and Germany when she was six. She competed in many competitions winning first prize on many occasions. Kathryn has performed on television, radio and in several musical festivals. She furthered her studies at the Juillard. She has performed at London’s Royal Festival Hall, Chicago Symphony Hall, Berlin Philarmonic, Salle Pleyel in Paris and the Auditori Nacional in Madid. She
has given solo recitals and performances throughout Europe, Asia, North and Latin America. Her repertoire focuses on the romantic period and modern Russian and American composers such as Schostakovich, Prokofiev, Barber and Kreisler.
Katherina Gross is an Austrian cellist who studied in Graz, at the Musikhoschule in Lübeck and Cologne and Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music. She took part in master classes with Mstislaw Rostropovich, Karine Georgian and Philippe Muller among other maestros. She has won many prizes including a first at the Liezen International Cello Competition. She has toured with several orchestras such as the Kiev Philharmonic. Katherina has given recitals throughout Europe and the USA. Her first CD was released in 2005. An active chamber musician she was invited in 2006 by the Párkányi Quartet to perform in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. A member of the Dutch Camerata Busoni she has performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and throughout the Netherlands. In 2007 she founded the Austrian Kornberger Festtage where she is the artistic director. More information about Kathryn is on her website.
