Antoine de Grolèe

Born in Northern France, Antoine de Grolèe began his musical journey with the Polish pianist Irena Kutin. Then graduating with highest honours in 2005 from the National Conservatory of Lyon.


Antoine de Grolée is one of the winners of the Long-Thibaud Competition, and in 2018 was a finalist of the Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Anne Queffélec described his playing « Authenticity, presence, passion ».

Antoine performs regularly at French festivals such as La Roque d’Anthéron, la Folle Journée de Nantes, Les Arcs, Classique au Vert, le Festival de Menton.

As a soloist, he has played with many European orchestras. A lover of chamber music, he has recorded two CDs, ‘Folklore’ with the cellist Julie Sévilla-Fraysse, and ‘Britain’ with the piano quartet Ensemble Gustave.

Since 2014, he has been the Artistic Director of the Festival ‘Les Moments musicaux du Tarn’.

From the 1st October the Government has removed the requirement for social distancing although masks will still have to be worn inside the auditorium.

This allows us to revert to “normal” full-auditorium evening performances. Thus there will be no more matinees.

The concerts will take place in the auditorium at Os Agostos. Doors will open at 6.00pm and the concert will begin at 7.00pm. There will be wine, fruit juices and canapés available for self-service. Entry donation is €25 per person for guests and non-members payable in advance by bank transfer.
