MEMBERSHIP
The Associação de Amigos de Musica is a registered private membership enterprise. We have around a hundred members – multi-national Algarve residents. With their membership fees they provide crucial support for the realisation of our ambitions to bring performances of the finest music by international artists to the Algarve. When you join, you become part of a family of supporters who share a mutual love of music.
The Amigos are at the heart of our Friends of Music Club and as an Amigo you will not only help us maintain quality at a high level in the programming of varied concerts, but also in fostering the education of talented young Portuguese musicians, within our “Young Portuguese Musicians Scholarship” programme, for which additional support is very welcome. We offer our members a range of benefits while also enabling them to build new friendships and to meet world-class artists. (Please note: €30.00 p.p. is paid by guests and non-members per concert to cover expenses.)
The membership year begins on July 1st, and ends on June 30th of the following year. Concerts start after the summer break in September; to see all concerts planned for the current season, click on Concert Programme
HOW TO JOIN
Subscriptions are €250 per person per year. Benefits are the following:
- free entry to all 18 concerts between September and June, incl. refreshments (provided that a booking by email has been made)
- Invitations to several exclusive “Amigos Only” events
- Regular Newsletters with early notification of concert dates
- Post-concert invitations to meet the artists socially
