For our concerts on the 8th and 10th of April we are pleased to welcome for the first time the French pianist, Macha Kanza.

Macha Kanza is a French pianist and violinist, whose training first came from the Polish school of piano, under the aegis of Irène Kutin, and then from the tradition of Heinrich Neuhaus’ Russian school of piano, by Yevgeni Mogilevsky, at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
She was noticed and encouraged by the pianist France Clidat from the age of six. That same year, she performed for the first time in concert at the Salle Gaveau, the Salle Pleyel and the Salle Cortot. Subsequently, her prizes at the S. Rachmaninoff Triennial Competition in Los Angeles in 2008 and at the Emil Guilels Competition in 2009 in Odessa marked the beginning of her career.
Her concerts have taken her to several European countries and the United States, and her artistic development has been greatly influenced by her encounters with Jean-Claude Pennetier, Daria Honora, Ivry Gitlis and Martha Argerich.
Her dual instrumental practice has also allowed her to embrace a wide repertoire of chamber music, to become an experienced chamber musician with a great curiosity for today’s repertoires.
