For our March Concerts we are very pleased to welcome again Alexander Schimpf, the well-known German pianist who has established himself as one of the outstanding musicians of his generation, earning international recognition through a series of major competition victories and an active global concert career. By winning the Cleveland International Piano Competition (USA, 2011), he became the first German pianist to receive the First Prize in this competition.
On Tuesday March 17th Alexander Schimpf will play works by W. A. Mozart, by Russian composer Nikolai Medtner, and by Franz Liszt.
On Thursday March 19th he will present works by Franz Schubert.
