The Amigos de Música are happy to announce that a beautiful new concert venue has been found and that concert activities will begin again in September 2014. The impressive XVIII century estate of “Os Agostos” above Sta. Barbara de Nexe and near Bordeira is going to be our new “home”. The Associação de Amigos de Música is a Circle of Friends of Music organised on a membership basis with subscriptions going to the organisation of monthly private concerts by internationally renowned musicians. As a non-profit organisation our activities are also geared at providing sponsorship to young Portuguese musicians*. You have indicated an interest of joining our circle and you are herewith cordially invited to do so. An annual membership fee of €150.00 per person and a one-time entry fee of €50.00 will give you free entry to all concerts of one season. Non-members/guests contribute for each concert attended €25.00 per person towards expenses. This membership year begins on July 1st,, 2014, and ends on June 30th, 2015. Concerts start in September; see below the programme for all 18 concerts of 2014/15 season.
Each invited artist gives us 2 recitals with a different programme. All concert details are communicated to members prior to each month’s concert series in regular Amigo Newsletters.
