The Executive Committee of the Amigos de Música are sorry to announce the death early in January 2023 in London of John Levitt, after a prolonged illness. John was a founder member of AAMSL and the President of the Assembleia Geral, chairing our Annual General Meetings for many years. On his retirement from that post he was made an Honorary Member.
