The 2017/18 concert season is going out with a surprise and it looks like a good one.

On the weekend bad news came in about our June artist, the Hungarian pianist Istvan Lajko, who broke a leg and upon medical advice cannot play for several weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Fortunately there was enough time for me to find a wonderful replacement, so the good news is Konstantin Lapshin.

Konstantin is a Russian pianist on a European concert tour with a suitable gap in his schedule and enough flexibility and dedication to his art to come to our rescue.  He will be arriving on Tuesday, June 12th in the afternoon just in time to get ready to sit by our Yamaha for the concert at 19:00.

And I am thrilled to give your here his programme choice for the two recitals on Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th, 2018:
