AKIKO YAMAMOTO, PIANO CONCERTS – MAY 14th. AND 17th., 2008
Akiko Yamamoto, one of Japan’s up and coming pianists, will give two concerts soon. The first, on May 14th. will consist of pieces by Mozart, Debussy and Schumann. The May 17th. concert will feature works by Bach, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. Full concert details are on the Centro Cultural’s website (see below).

Kathryn Stott and Pavel Fischer will play two concerts – piano solos, violin solos and some duets. They will play a wide range of pieces by, among others, Debussy, Satie, Bartók, Brahms, Sibelius, Villa-Lobos, Fitkin (first concert) and Dvorak, Chopin, Shostakovik, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Albeniz, Teleman (second concert).
PIERS LANE CONCERTS – FEBRUARY 13th. & 16th., 2008
Making his third visit to the Amigos is the renowned pianist Piers Lane. On February 13th. he will perform several works by Chopin. This will be followed on February 16th.
