APRIL 27th & 29th: Marta Menezes, pianist
In her varied programmes for Matinee and Evening concerts, this wonderful young artist has included works by Portuguese composers – Marta Menezes is an active performer of Portuguese music, having commissioned and premiered several works a few of which were dedicated to her. She also finished her doctoral thesis on works for Piano and Orchestra by Portuguese composers. She will be playing works by Beethoven, Chopin, Vianna da Motta, Liszt, Artur Santos and Albeniz.

These Amigos de Música concerts at Os Agostos will take place in the auditorium.
For the matinée doors will open at 10.00am and the concert will begin at 11.00 am. Coffee and biscuits will be available for self-service. For the evening performance doors will open at 6.00pm and the concert will begin at 7.00pm. There will be wine, fruit juices and canapés available for self-service. Entry donation is €25 per person for guests and non-members payable in advance by bank transfer (see website).
