For our next AMIGOS’ CONCERTS on March 12th and 14th 2024, we are fortunate to welcome ANDREY GUGNIN, an exceptional Russian pianist, who since the start of the war in Ukraine decided to live in the West (see https://gugnin.com/biography) after winning several important piano competitions in Zagreb, Italy, Spain and Vienna. Andrey won the Sidney International Piano Competition in 2016. One of the prizes -given by Piers Lane – was the invitation to play for the Amigos de Música.
Andrey GUGNIN is a sought after pianist travelling around the world. Having more recently won the first prize at the 12th International Piano Competition in Kronberg/Germany in November 2023.

On Tuesday March 12th, Andrey will play works by Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, and Igor Stravinsky, while on Thursday February 14th, he proposes a programme with works by L. van Beethoven, César Franck, Frédéric Chopin and Sergey Rachmaninov.

Amigos de Música concerts at OS AGOSTOS begin at 7.00pm.
Gates open at 6.00pm and wine, fruit juices and canapés will be served.
Entry donation including refreshments is €30 per person for guests and non-members.
