e Trio Pangea was established by its three founding members to bring 20th Century music to an international audience. The Trio Pangea has been
recording chamber music by France’s Emmanuel Hieaux and pieces by Portuguese composers including Luis de Freitas Branco
and António Fragoso. The Trio’s musicians are:

He has recorded CDs of Portuguese 20th. century piano music and is supported by the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Ministry of Culture.
Adolfo Rascón Carbajal is a young Spanish violinist. He won a scholarship from the Albéniz Foundation and performs as a soloist and chamber musician.
Teresa Valente Pereira is a Portuguese cellist who has won scholarships from the Gulbenkian, Carolina and Albéniz Foundations as well as the German Government. She has played both as a soloist and chamber musician in Portugal, Spain, Italy and France. She was a member of the Grupo Albéniz and of the EUYO working with Sir Colin Davis and playing at the Royal Albert Hall and Berlin Philarmonic. She has been principal cello of the Lisbon Metropolitan and Asturias Symphony and collaborates with the Gulbenkian Orchestra. Click on triopangea for more on the Trio Pangea (in Spanish).
