It remained unpublished and the manuscript kept in the National Portuguese Library. Ana Beatriz first became aware of its existence in 2014. After studying the score she became fascinated by its musical language and the combination of old and new. She resolved to perform this work in London. She did this at the St. James’s in Piccadilly in partnership with Spanish conductor Pablo Urbina and the In Tune Orchestra. This concert was done with the support of the Portuguese Embassy and the patronage of Michael Savage. In the audience was the Portuguese Ambassador and his wife and the composer’s sister.
