Am I spoiling you ????
Here in the middle of the most amazing concert series with the great Dudana, I come to you and tell you about the next two piano recitals AND the last two concerts of the 2021 membership season !!
Yet, only now and with great conviction can I ask you AND URGE YOU to make your reservations for the following events. The powers that be, decided that we can begin to travel within Europe safely as of now and, so, here come confirmations of our musicians from London and from Prague arriving in Faro for us in time:
Konstantin Lapshin, the Anglo-Russian pianist is coming from London to play for us on
Tuesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 17, 2021
First Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninov, and second Scriabin, Chopin and Tchaikovsky-Pletnev in Matinees as well as in evening performances.

Katya Apekisheva, piano and Pavel Fischer, violin come next from London and Prague, respectively, to play on
Wednesday!!!, June 23, and Friday !!, June 25, 2021
first Arvo Paert, Schubert and Cesar Franck, and
second Handel, Dvorak, Janacek, Pavel Fischer, Kreisler and Gershwin in Matinees and evening performances.
(Please note the altered week days for the last two !!!!)
With these eminent musicians we could not ask for more to close down our 2020/21 concert and membership
Season. A season that was fraught more than any other ever was and, hopefully!! Ever will be.
A true GRAND FINALE !!!

For Members as well as Guests
We continue to be concerned for everyone`s safety. So in order to comply with hygiene and
distancing regulations, and according to DGS stipulations, the following rules will apply:
Avoid congregating in the parking lot.
Masks will be worn until you are seated as well as during the performances.
There are separate entrance and exit doors for the concert hall.
Drinks and light refreshments are prepared
and await you upon arrival. Do stay out of doors as long as possible.
Seats in the auditorium are adequately spaced and the capacity is considerably reduced.
There will be no interval.
In order to avoid as much indoor mingling as possible our hosts insist that social
distancing rules be observed AT ALL TIMES, including for the use of the Restrooms !
Please avoid queues and stay masked
Concert Programmes will not be available on the night. They will be emailed to all participants
for individual printing out.
RESERVATIONS HAVE TO BE MADE !
To avoid face to face check-in procedure
Bookings must be made by email, stipulating “Matinee” or “Evening”, and all names must be given
Book as soon as possible after receiving this NEWSLETTER !
For guest bookings Cristina will give payment details, either for bank transfer or multibanco.
The guest donation is still EURO 25.00 p.p.
This prepayment avoids the need to check in on the evening
and is to be paid only after Cristina has confirmed your reservation.
Gates at Os Agostos open after 10:00 or 18:00, respectively – please do not come earlier –
Concerts for Matinees begin at 11:00 and Evening performances at 19:00
Please also observe the one-way approach to the parking at OA. Do not exit the domaine
in the wrong direction !
